Numerical Study on Unbalance Response of Dual-Rotor System Based on Nonlinear Bearing Characteristics of Active Magnetic Bearings

The magnetic suspended dual-rotor system (MSDS) has the advantage of a high power density. can be used in high-speed rotating machinery. major purpose this study is to predict unbalance response MSDS considering nonlinear bearing characteristics active bearings (AMBs). Firstly, model was established by non-linear circuit method (NMCM). considers flux leakage, saturation, and working position flotation accurately. Then, dynamic using finite element solved Newmark-β method. Finally, effects external load, rotational speeds, control parameters were studied. Axial trajectory diagrams, stability zone waterfall diagrams employed analyze behaviors MSDS. results indicate that have significant impact on system. Super harmonics frequencies their combined may excited heavy load conditions. Appropriate suppress phenomena. obtained research will contribute design fault diagnosis MSDSs.
